The real estate experts at Cape Fear Coast Real Estate are proud
to offer homes and homesite properties on Oak Island—the
easternmost of the South Brunswick Islands. Oak Island, NC is
home to over 8,000 residents year-round. Many times that number
make an annual pilgrimage to Oak Island and Caswell Beach to
enjoy their combined 14 miles of sandy white beaches.
Oak
Island is steeped in maritime history. The Oak Island Lighthouse,
constructed in 1958, stands nearly 170 feet tall and is still
visible to passing ships over 25 nautical miles away. Oak
Island is truly a most interesting place to live.
Oak Island also features the Tidal Davis Canal and Montgomery
Slough which cuts through the center of the Island. The canal
offers some of the finest canoeing and kayaking from which
you can enjoy bird-watching and spectacular views of lush,
subtropical island vegetation.
Fishing is available from three ocean piers, as well as from
charters that regularly leave the island's Blue Water Point
Marina. Sailing, surfing, shelling and just plain-old beach
walking is a way of life here.
Oak
Island homes and homesites are available in a wide range of
prices. Commercial buildings and property is available as
well.
